Important Notes
Please note that once stretched over thick wires the length will shorten. The ends will also fray so please allow a good amount of extra length to cover these points.
How we use this sleeving
To protect your sleeving from fraying, we use masking tape and trim the fray until we are ready to heat shrink the sleeve. When it's time to heat shrink we remove the masking tape, add a drop of superglue, slide over the heat shrink and then heat it. Here are some picture of the process we use with 7mm cable, 6mm sleeving and 10mm heat shrink:
